This occurred to me on our own Christmas Party. BOOKS. Even though it seems pretty boring, but it is actually a really practical gift. How about giving out novels by Lynne Ewing or Lauren Kate? Or, maybe a "For Dummies" book would suffice for someone's hobby? Many book stores sell very affordable selections. I love shopping for books on National Bookstores, Powerbooks, and Booksales.
